Naxos vs. Crete
 

I have 14 days on the islands from May 26 to June 8. I will spend 4 days in Santorini. My question is should the other 10 days be split between Naxos (4 days) and Crete (6 days) or spent entirely on one island. I know Crete is large so I would concentrate on the southwest and Chania regardless of how long I stay. The crux of my question is the real differences between Naxos and Crete. They both seem to be less touristy and have great beaches but what distinguishes one from the other. This is hard to determine from guide books and the research I have done on this site.
