Can anyone give any advice with regard to camping au naturel in France?

Do it in Summer !!

wear an apron when you fry bacon on the camp stove.

Two words: insect repellent.

Another two : Sun screen.

Take extra care when barbecueing sausages.

Mind the gap.

Take care when zipping up the tent in the dark

I have just done a google search on 'naturism camping france' and got quite a few references.

Though some of the best advice you'll probably get is posted above....
