Nature/birdwatching ?
 

This might be a long shot but here it goes. I have done a bit of research into some birdwatching tours out of Lisbon. I think I will need to do a tour in order to get to see anything. I won't have a car either. Has anyone done anything like this and what were your impressions?

I didn't do a tour. Just brought my bins and a guidebook plus the Iberian Peninsula birdpack for Merlin on my smartphone. Sintra was pretty good for birding. Also around Belem at the fountains and shoreline.
