Narrowing down Ireland Itinerary - any suggestions appreciated

Thanks to those who have helped me thus far planning our trip to Ireand this coming May/June. I've put together an outline and would love any suggestions of what would be possible to add and perhaps what to omit. Hotels have been booked but can be changed with the exceptions of Portlaoise and Dublin at the end.

We are flying Boston/Shannon May 25
Arriving May 26
Renting a car ar the airport and making the short drive to Ennis
2 nights booked at Old Ground Hotel
Planning on spending the first day overcoming jet lag and enjoying the town of Ennis.

May 27- day trip to Doolin- take Doolin Ferry tour to Aran Islands - Innis Oirr ( 4 hours on island) and then one hour tour of Cliffs of Moher by boat.
Night in Ennis

May 28- Drive to Killarney. Morning stop at Bunratty Castle, drive to Dingle for lunch ,around Dingle Peninsula , ending in Killarney, hopefully before dark.
2 nights booked at Killarney Park Hotel.

May 29 - Ring of Kerry
Night in Killarney

May 30- Killarney to Ardmore
Not sure whether we will head down to Kinsale for a midday stop and go a more direct route and stop in Cork.
Night in Ardmore at Cliff House

May 31
Morning walk Ardmore Head into town. (about an hour)
Drive to Kilkenny spend the remainder of the day exploring Kilkenny.

June 1
Morning- Kilkenny
Leave Kilkenny mid-afternoon to meet friends in Portlaoise
2 nights in Portlaoise

June 3-
Drive to Dublin mid-afternoon- leave car at airport.
Arrive at hotel in Dublin early evening
3 nights Dublin (really only gives us two days)

June 6- Depart

I realize this is a bit of a whirlwind, but trying to get a taste of Ireland.
The last 5 nights we are spending with friends so they cannot be changed.

Any and all sugestions are appreciated!

Didn't know I had written an itinerary for you.. Can't be mine, the places and detail maybe but I never put times to anything. Ireland doesn't work to a timetable.

No Blarney! Blarney Castle and its famous stone is a few miles before Cork - easy to include - nice small town there as well. Do not believe what locals said when I was there - that they go out at night and pee on the stone that people bend their heads to buss the next day!

Have a plan B in case the Cliffs of Moher boat ride gets cancelled. That happened to us on a day that looked fine--and the boat company didn't notify us.

If the weather is not suitable for a boat ride we will spend the day seeing the CLiffs of Moher by land and The Burren. I hadn't thought about stopping at Blarney, but it looks as a good point to head to before stopping in Cork.

PalenQ, I never kissed the stone. The grounds are beautiful and always enjoy the woolen mills there.
Have lunch at Gus O'Conners pub in Doolin. Pretty ride along the coast in the boat.

Loved the Burren--our 3 hour guided hike with Shane Connolly was fabulous.
