Naples Trip in October

Hi, first post here and looking for inspiration!
Planning to fly to Naples October 15th - 20th with wife and 10 year old son. Not seasoned travellers and not a bottomless wallet, so looking for a decent hotel as a base (possibly breakfast facilities to give us a head start on the day) with communication links to all the best tourist locations (we've already ruled out car hire due to the indicated nightmares).
So looking for hotel recommendations (we're looking at hotel eden near the railway at the moment) and suitable itinerys with any upto date costs.
We would like to do something 'beachy' (possibly one of the islands) and something 'amusementy' (so far this year we've done eurodisney and portaventura but we're guessing there's nothing close to this in Naples).
Any other tips welcomed, and thanks in advance for your help!

Hi P,

What's your hotel budget?

Have you looked up Naples and Amalfi Coast under "Destinations"?

Hi P,

600 GBP for 4nights is about 220E/nite.

This hotel has gotten good reviews here: www.costantinopoli104.com/en

OOPS, 5 nights not 4.

Might be out of your range.
