Naples to Venice by air?
Hi, we are flying into Rome mid-May. Going to the Amalfi coast, then would like to see Venice. Should we fly from Naples to Venice (if so any local airlines?) or should we take a train? Suggestions?

Hi Pete-
Fly. Volareweb.com Saves you lots of time. |
I used http://www.europebyair.com/eba/English_us/default.jsp
and got naples to venice for 99 bucks. The airline was alpi eagles and we had a good experience with them. You might also want to take a look at opodo.com, it's europe's version of orbitz. good luck. jerry |
You would think that Alpi Eagles will be trying to compete with Volare on this route (at least some of the time). There ARE member airlines of europebyair that offer lower fares when booked directly with the airline than the $99 fare. If Volare isn't a good option for some reason, might be worthwhile to check the Alpi Eagles web site for a fare purchased directly.
Best wishes, Rex |
Thanks yk.
We booked for 19 euros + another 25 euros in taxes. Still 2 tickets for under 100 euro, not bad. pete |
Likewise, Lufthansa. I have never used Volareweb.com but am sure there are other options there as well.

Just got back from Italy last night. We flew from Venice to Naples airport on Volareweb. Great airline...great prices. I was a little nervous to use them because they were so inexpensive, but they are a good airline. Watch out in Naples when you go the the car rental parking lot.
