Naples to Milan
 

Hi,
We need to catch a 9:55 am flight from Milan to San Francisco on Dec 2nd and will be in Naples on Dec 1st. What's the best way to get from Naples to Milan so that we are in time for our flight ? If you think it makes sense to fly to Milan the previous evening, can you suggest any hotels close to the Milan airport ?

How long does it take to get to Milan Malpensa airport from Milan Central ? The earliest train is at 7:30 am, so we'll have to take a bus or taxi.

The train from Naples will take you to Milan Central.

There is only bus service to Milan airport from there.

It's about an hour ride.

If you are becoming concerned, go to Milan the day before and have your hotel arrange for a cab to take you to the airport. That is the safest way.

You may want to fly but unsure as to where to stay. It will take just under 2hours and will anywhere from 50-70Euros depending on date etc. Try Volare( discount air travel) however keep in mind that the fare is not the fare, ie once you select the fare/time they calculate the tax which we have found to be outrageous-sometimes considerably more than the fare itself.
