Naples Hotel Suggestion
 

We will be arriving late (9 p.m.) in Naples. Can anyone suggest a safe but reasonably priced hotel?

Mercure has two hotels in Naples. You do NOT want the one by the train station. You want the other one. I'm sorry I can't remember which is which.

The Best Western Paradiso was very nice with a great view of the Bay and a nice breakfast included. They also offer a 30 Euro car service pickup from the train station which was well worth the price especially if arriving late.

I agree with cadillac1234 that Hotel Paradiso has a beautiful view of the Bay of Naples, especially as the sun rises behind Mt Vesuvius as you're having a morning cup of coffee or enjoying a late evening on the bacony with the one you love and a glass of wine. Life doesn't get better than that.... Ask for a room a view and enjoy.

We stayed at the Renaissance Mediterraneo and found it to be a great choice! Francisco, the concierge, was very helpful and the restaurant where breakfast is served has a breathtaking view...would definately stay there again:-)
