Naples Hotel Choices
 

Hello helpful fodorites, any thoughts on Hotel Il Convento vs. Sansevero Degas for a one night stay in Naples as to neighborhood etc.? I was lucky enough to get a last minute ff award ticket to Italy for the end of the month and am now having to try and line up some last minute hotels. Any fodorites in Positano or C.T. in late August, early Sept.? Thanks for the help.

What's the location of the Hotel Il Convento?

Hi Ira, Hotel Il Convento is on Via Speranzella. Web sight says it is in the old district. Sansavero Degas is on Piazza del Gesu which seems like a good location, my other choice was Hotel Pinto Storey but it was pricier than the other two. Thanks, Jen

I think I would rather be in the Spacanapoli area at the Degas or at the Albergo Sansevero.

Thanks Ira, I am not that familiar with Napoli but would like to see a bit of it on my way to Positano, probably the Archeological Museum etc. The Sansevero Degas is less expensive too!
