Reporting back: We picked up 2 Naples Arte Cards at the "I" storefront at the Naples RR station (3 day Tutta la Regione). It was well worth it, paying for entry to Pompeii and Herculaneum and all transit on the Circumvesuviana as well as the Naples Metro. In addition, it being Italy, a software glitch had the Naples Archeological Museum give one of our cards a third free entry instead of half price. Also, although the card is good for transit, only once, and only for one of the cards, did the transit gate open. All the other transit entries required showing the cards to an attendant who opened a free entry gate. Overall, the entry fee discounts covered the cost of the cards, and the transit was effectively free.
