Ah! I had not noticed the commencement date of this thread. It was actually a posting that was made a couple minutes before mine and that "bumped" the topic to the top of the queue that I even noticed it. Well. I'd still never drive in Naples! :-) Scooters, cars, or anything else. One Australian couple we met on Capri had driven to Naples from Rome. They were so stressed from it! They hired a cab so the husband could then follow the cab to where a rental location was to return their car, then took the cab from the rental return location to their hotel. And I would have done the same! :-)
