Naples Airport to Sorrento---Best transportation
 

We are a party of 6 ( 3 couples) and can't decide the best mode of transportation from the airport to Sorrento. Rent a driver, boat, or taxi ? Also how long will it take?

If a private driver's cost is in your travel budget, that's the way I would go. There are driver's with nice, new mini vans, which would accommodate six people.

Guestimate: Should take about 1 1/2 hrs., maybe 2 hours if the traffic is heavy.

Check with Salvatore Lucibello at [email protected] He'll quote you quickly and provides a great service. Nice Mercedes Minivan, very comfortable, he speaks good English, knows the area, and you can just relax without another 40 people talking around you.

You're going to love Sorrento! My husband & I spent 5 nights there last October. We used www.francescomarrapese.com for transportation from Naples to Sorrento. With 6 people & luggage, this would be the most relaxing way to transfer. My experience was that he responded quickly to email inquiries. Hope this helps...

A private car service is nice, but I can also recommend the bus- it's very convenient, and the drop-off is right in the middle of downtown Sorrento. I have often met very interesting people on that bus, too. With 6 of you, you'll fill up half the bus!

OTOH. The advantage of the car service is the door to door service, luggage wise.
