Naples airport to Ravello

Hello all! Wondering, which would be the fastest and/or least hassle free (light on the luggage): Airport bus to Sorrento, then the local SITA or orange bus to Ravello, or bus from Naples airport to Naples train station, train to Salerno, then bus to Ravello?

I'm thinking the first option, as there's only one connection; about 3 hours???

Any thoughts? I think a private driver is out of my budget. Grazie!

Fremont - The quicker option is normally via SALERNO (- via Sorrento is nearer 4 hours, with a change at Amalfi too).

Train to Salerno is about 45 mins.
Salerno-Amalfi by boat takes 35 mins.
(70 mins by bus)
Amalfi-Ravello by bus takes 25 mins.

[At Salerno it's a 3-mins walk to the ferry (Piazza della Concordia jetty) - or alternatively buses to Amalfi leave from outside the station].

How long it actually takes you will depend on bus/boat connection times at Salerno.

Hope this helps ...

Steve

There is yet another alternative: SITA bus from Naples to Amalfi direct (two hours), connecting to local bus up the hill to Ravello. However, you must consult the schedules for the Naples/Amalfi bus, as there are five runs from Monday thru Saturday, and only one or two on Sundays.
www.sita-on-line.it

SITA buses leave downtown Naples direct to Amalfi (two hour run) Monday thru Saturday at: 10:00, 14:15, 16:15, 17:15 and 18:00. On Sundays, only the 10:00 am bus operates.
