Nap Bar Paris - Quelle Betise!
Quelle Betise indeed (a dumb thing in French according to my French son) a Nap Bar has opened in Paris on the Champs-Elysees where tired tourists can take a nap for the princely price of 12 euros for 15 minutes snooze. Quelle Betiste!

Better than a cafe?! I think not!
So wait, if I can't fall asleep, do I get my money back? ;-) |
that is expensive for a nap, but it's like those Japanese pod things (but those are in train stations or somewhere that makes sense).
FYI, it is bêtise and comes from the word bête for animal/beast |
still don't know how to do the accents on computer - a computer Luddite!
|
Passage Choiseul is nowhere near the Champs Elysées -- and this place does not at all seemed to be aimed at tourists.

The first time I went to Paris we took the overnight ferry/train from Newhaven, arrived at 7 a.m., not having slept - sat up all night. Spent the day seeing virtually everything in Paris - and left at midnight. I would have LOVED to have somewhere to sleep for a little while. Of course I couldn't have afforded 60 Euros an hour anyway.

Paris was once known for plenty of places where you could rent a room for an hour.
So I'm told. |
and at prices way cheaper per hour than the Nap Bar!
