Santorini - how long to stay

My husband and I are planning to stay in Santorini for 6 nights. Do you think it's too long? We were planning to island hop but are now thinking that we might want to just take it easy and just stay on one island....

Thanks!

I'm going to stick my neck out here.I think a pass by on a ferry provides Santorini's best. I think island hopping would be more fun than sitting in heavy traffic on santorini.

Stay 6 nights! You will find it hard to tear yourself away from sitting and staring at the caldera.

We stayed 6 (or 7?) nights last spring and loved it. We did a whole lot of NOTHING. Enjoyed the view, ate, drank, walked, read, etc. Probably the most relaxing vacation I have ever taken.
