Nantes in 5 hours - questions from me, suggestions from you?

Nantes is a stop along the way. If I break the train trip up, I could stop there for about 5 hours. I've read on the tourism site that there are tours offered, but the schedule for June isn't up yet. I know 5 hours isn't a lot, so for a taste of Nantes, what would you suggest?

Walk into town from the train station (it's not far). If your 5-hour period includes lunch, have lunch at La Cigale. I didn't think the food was that special, but it's good enough and the setting is gorgeous.
Check out the new restored, reopened chateau. Stroll in the city's main park (keep an eye out for the pheasants).

I love La Cigale(cicada) and still have one of the beautiful menus that has a cover of the tile cigales that dcorate the walls. It's across from the Opera.

Looks like you've convinced me to schedule a stop in Nantes. I would have to go to La Cigale just because their website is beautiful! Thank you all again.
