I read in a thread here the other day about a popular restaurant in Florence that has a wonderful view of the city and then the folks mentioned the lovely walk back into the city with a stop at Piazza Michaelangelo - help! I cannot find it and I didn't write down the name of it-does anyone know which I am talking about? Thanks for any and all aid. Happy Easter,Leslie

You can also take the bus up to the San Miniato church, to visit it and enjoy the sweeping views over Florence. It’s pretty to see the Duomo and all the rooftops of Florence from that perspective. Walking down the hill a bit, we found a little café with a nice outdoor terrace, which looked across the hills at the several villas. It was a nice place to take a break, again with caprese salads and wine. Not a popular restaurant, per se, but still great views.
