not Monday ( museums are closed), warm weather ( not hot),
a view of a river (sea, countryside, mountains...),
good company (friends, SO, myself)

Warm sunshine, a glass of good wine (or a cup of good coffee), a good book and peaceful surroundings. Company optional.

But then I live in Europe and that is just my ideal day .

1. An old, scenic, pedestrianized neighborhood with lots of nooks and crannies to explore.

2. A relaxed outdoor cafe with excellent local wine and delicious little munchables.

3. Sunny weather with temps in the 70s.

4. My favorite travel companions... the onelittleworld crew.

Honestly, is there anything in life better than that? Can there be?

Judyrem - I still remember Georgio in Rome - in a land of good looking men he was outstanding!

A discovery,
something new and useful learned.
something beautiful seen,
waking happy with a big yawn.

Early morning, sitting alone at an outside table with croissant and cafe au lait.

Copy of International Herald Tribune.

Dear Lady Wife still asleep.

Anticipation of her sweet self joining me later.

1. Good food of a type I can't get at home.
2. Interesting conversation. People are speaking French. They understand me and I understand them. (This obviously applies only to France, but that's where I would put my perfect day.)
3. Live music is playing, either as a background soundtrack to my day or in a performance I am attending somewhere.
4. Laughter.

A great museum
Some time spent over a drink in a cafe in the late afternoon
A nice dinner (doesn;t have to be expensive, but must be good food, relaxed, good conversation and not rushed at all - a pretty site doesn;t hurt)
Something unexpected (usually a sight seen on walking from one place to another - we walk as much as possible except in spread out cities with good subways - London or Paris).
