Mykonos and Santorini
 

I will be traveling with 2 other girls, ages 21, to Mykonos and Santorini this summer for 1 week.

We need help finding a hotel! It needs to be relatively inexpensive, and preferebly on the beach. Safety is always a key issue as there will only be 3 of us. We just want to relax and let the world pass us bye as we stare out onto the beautiful Mediterranean! And yes, nightlife is very important too, but I know that will not be hard to find!

Inexpensive means around $50-80 per person a night--is this doable? I'm sorry I didn't do much research before I posted this, I just wanted to get some ideas on hotels first.

Also which Island should we spend our extra night on?

The two most popular beaches on Santorini are Perissa and Kamari. Focus your search there.

I dissent. I think you would have more fum on Sanorini if you stay in Thira-not the beach. For the beach you want Mykonos. Your 22-spend two exra nights in Mykonos at any beach near town. Boats then connect you to the other beaches. The parties are in the early am and late night at paradise and superparadise beaches.

Both Perissa and Kamari have very active party nightlife in the summer months.
