BTW, Allengland, happens to be my sister. She replied earlier and was half-joking about our Dad's stamina. I just replied to the last post on her computer, as I am babysitting my new nephew at her apartment. Thus my last post is under her code name.

She was the one who finally got me to go to England, and she was right, as usual!

By the way - I love Salisbury and the cathedral too - been there twice.

What a great trip report! Your enthusiasm is palpable.. Though I've been many times to the UK there is nothing like reading it with a "fresh pair" of eyes so to speak. Thanks for taking the time to post. Many more happy travels.
