My travel update

A few updates on what has happened. Yesterday a girl working at the cashier almost charged me 1 POUND extra for ice cream, but I caught her and made her do a price check. In less than 2 weeks I will be hitchhiking to London, so if any of you want to lend me a ride I will accept Also I found the greatest pair of black skinny jeans. You should see how they look when I bend my legs >.< aniNVFREIVNnvfi!!! Guys are going to be so jealous. I also calculated that I will be spending 300 pounds this month *cries*

I never said anything bad, people were just jealous because I had a high post count.
I paid my tax. I feel so grown up and I told my step dad about this and he is sending me money for the remaining payment x So now I can party and take cabs YAY!

So grown up - when you step daddy is sending you the money so you can hitch to London?

Grown up would be paying your own way.

But let's not start again - or we'll all get caught up in this strangely compelling fantasy.

Dobby, no one hitches anymore, catch a bus or a train. It ain't expensive and in this weather you'll stay dry and warm.

Well done for paying the tax.

You feel grown up because your stepfather paid your tax bill?

People here were jealous because your thread had a high post count?

You're back to complain about being overcharged in a shop?

What makes any of this a travel abroad 'update'?

yes, please don't hitch. [we said this on the last thread but clearly need to say it again as you weren't listening.]

as for giving you a lift to London, you'll have to tell us where you're living first.

Sounds like deja vu all over again ...

Hitching is not a good idea at all. You ought not be surprised if some nut job rolls you for your phone and wallet.

Peter, if that happens, and it probably won't, as Dobby will probably stand by the roadside for three days straight in a pouring rain waiting for a ride, Dobby will once again whine that he was taken advantage of by the British "system" he doesn't feel a need to contribute to. Let him hitch - he deserves a good scrubbing for being the pretentious, entitled little prig he is. It's not his money in the wallet anyway...it's the stepfather's.

I'm trying to imagine how anyone's stepfather would fall for this crap. A biological parent, I can maybe understand (but not even quite), but the stepfather must be either ridiculously rich (which in itself would explain a lot), or a total doof and pushover.

Well, we've all fallen for it, haven't we?

A bit harsh, Stcirq, lots of us take a long time to grow up and Dobby is starting from a low point.

I'm beginning to think that Dobby is the modern equivalent of a remittance man. In the nineteenth century, a difficult member of the family would be shipped off to the colonies and maintained there with money sent from home.

Maybe the step dad considers that it's a cheap price to pay to keep Dobby in the UK?

Ah yes, Miss P, "Failed In London, Try Hongkong". I suppose in the US it was "Go West, young man". The Scottish borders, or wherever our hero has landed up, seem a bit harsh by comparison.

If, of course, that is what is going on.

My belief is that the OP is sitting around a pool at his parents house in CA and making all of these postings to amuse himself - while supposedly studying for his GED.

Peter - I don't have a phone or wallet. aha

I got a letter from the water company and they are giving me a 25 pound discount because they didn't properly notify me about a bill or something. Why don't they just give me back my 25 pounds?? I'm not even going to be here when the next bill arrives. o.O

Dobby - don't you have anything else to tell us apart from your battles with the water and council tax people?

aren't you going places, seeing things, meeting people?

annhig..Do you really expect an answer from this put up on creature???What a waste of her/his time in the UK...What a sad thing to miss all of the experiences and seemingly just wait around until the next monkey wrench is tossed!!!
