Hi Micheline! Paris deserved two wine glasses
The first one I bought at BHV, the second one DD bought for me at the Louvre gift shop. The BHV one is so thin and pretty that I am almost afraid to use it (but I do!) The Louvre one is sturdy and therefor does heavier duty. I love buying small everyday things when I travel - I have also bought steak knives at BHV. Only I know where it comes from, but when my eye catches the French on the blade I remember the day I bought it and the coffee shop at the corner and the shop assistant who talked about Nelson Mandela.
I am feeling quite nostalgic about Paris this morning!
Interesting that you found the London TR. When I read that I literally remember the aroma of the hotel in Baker Street - a mixture of wet streets and coffee and leather chairs.
