Your trip sounds absolutely perfect!
We recently did a similar tour with a few variations: We spent 3 nights in Granada because we wanted to visit the Alhambra twice over two days. We also stayed a night in Cordoba, but the only real benefit was seeing the mezquita at the end of the day after the crowds disperse (it will be just you and a few guards). But this can easily be achieved without having to stay overnight.
Have a great trip!

Looks good to me! Enjoy!

yes, good plan

Even I couldn't improve on it.

Good plan. 4 nights may be a little tight for Barcelona assuming you'll have jetlag and it probably won't give time for any daytrips. But I wouldn't cut time in Sevilla (or Madrid) to add. So with the # of days you have I think you've approached the itinerary very well.

Have a wonderful trip!

Thank you for your replies. CahtyM I actually have 5 nights in Barcelona.
Two more questions:

1-Do I need to prebook anything beside La Sagrada Familia, Casa Batllo and Alhambra?

2-I can add a day to my trip. Would you recommend a day trip to Ronda, hence 6 days in Seville? I feel a bit guilty for going all the way to Andalucia and not seeing a white village.

CathyM Sep 11th, 2013 06:50 AM

Do you mean you can add an entire day somewhere in your trip so you would now have 17 nights?

KodakMoment Sep 11th, 2013 07:24 AM

Yes, Cathy. I extended my trip by an extra night.

CathyM Sep 11th, 2013 07:34 AM

I'd either add a day to Barcelona in order to give a day to recover from jetlag. Or add a day to Sevilla and do another daytrip. Using public transportation you could easily visit Ronda or Arcos. Or you could take a daytrip to Jerez to visit a sherry bodega and appreciate the guitar and flamenco culture in this city. Or head to Cadiz for a day. Osuna, Carmina and Ecija are smaller towns that also make good Daytrips as does Sanlucar f you want to visit a manzanilla bodega and see a little coast.

What Cathy said. White villages are, well, white villages. Ronda is good for a couple of hours though and the view of the gorge is one I will never forget.

KM; If you happen to be in Madrid on a Sunday, consider a buffet at the Westin Palace.

We only had mini sandwiches and a cheese tray with wine. Included were the usual mixed nuts/olives and a basket of six small rolls. Plenty for lunch.

What was incredible, there were two opera singers between 2-4pm and it was a lovely afternoon. They were about 10-15 feet away. Happens every Sunday.

Total cost was 53 euros.
