Randy, your Chateau D'Angers shots look a lot like mine. The apocalypse tapestry has to be seen to be believed, n'est-ce pas?

Mr go: Did you notice that there were five or six other album to view?"

Thank you, Randy.

Mont Saint Michel sure looks different with sunlight and blue skies!

Enjoyed the pictures immensely, but how did you take all those pics of paintings in the Louvre? Didn't you get yelled at?

Scarlett Mar 16th, 2004 06:04 PM

Oh Randall, I loved the photographs!
The Louvre photos made me long to be there!

Great pics, Randy. Makes me think about uploading some of mine. Angers is a pretty cool town.

Randy, your pics took me right back to Paris! (In fact, I took a few of the same shots.) Do you remember who the artist was for the painting in the Louvre of the head of flowers/fruits? We have done google searches to no avail! My shots of them were out of focus (my digital shots taken indoors without the flash are all fuzzy).
Thanks for sharing!

StCirq: I had no problem with taking pictures in the Louvre. There were a lot of people taking pictures. I was sure glad I had a digital camera for taking picturs of the paintings -- I did not get that "flash back" that you get when you use a flash.

allisonm: I do not know who is the artist on those four paintings where that artist used flowers and fruits. I even went to Boarders yesterday and looked through two large books on paintings in the Louvre and could not find the paintings. Now you have me wondering, if you find out, would you let me know. Since I took that picture in the Louvre, I came across excellent photos of each of those four paintings and if you would like I would e-mail them to you. They are jpg files and I feel you could make good 8 X 10 color prints from them.
