For anyone heading to Provence soon I thought I'd put a plug in for this book. I'm only on the second chapter and the photography is WONDERFUL.

It's along the same vein as the books by people who have picked up sticks and moved to a foreign country - but heavy on the photography versus the story itself - even though there is the story - the photos are the star of the show.

The photographer is Carla Coulson and she has a few other books out as well.

I bought that book last year.The photos are very beautiful as well as her chilren, and the husband is handsome and they are very rich, so there goes my dream.

My husband bought me this book for my birthday. I saw it in a giftshop and I just had to have it! You're both right, Carla Coulsons' photographs are amazing. The story is interesting as well, although you're right....she does lead a charmed life! It makes you want to just drop everything, save all your pennies and jet off to France!
