My advice n?1 for your cheap trip in France

Hello
I start by an advice for you to go from France to France (or France to Europe ) for a very cheap price. Excuse my bad English.

If you can speak a little French you just have to go to this website when you arrive in France.
http://www.allostop.net/index.html

You look at all the propositions and you choose. Example :
15/08/2004 11AM Paris-Copenhaguen 40€
15/08/2004 2PM Paris- Evreux 10€

You just have to choose your destination then you call the association allostop-provoya. They are very serious, I travelled with them many times. They will ask you a very small "cotisation" each time you use them.
If you visit their website, thanks to resume on this forum what they offer because your english is better than mine and I really think it can interset a lot of people.
See you soon for my advice n?2!!!

I forgot to tell you that is a sort of car-sharing (co-conveyance?)but it's very serious. Drivers are very habituated with the association "allostop provoya".

Thanks for the tip. From what I understand, this is an arrangement where you share a ride in someone's car who is already driving?

Yes, but it's an association. When you live in france you can become regular driver or occasionnal driver. When tou choose a date and a destination, the association give you the phone of the driver for the appointement.
You can also say to the association "I would like to go september 1st from paris to marseilles but I don't find car" So the association write your demande on the web and after, a driver tel them then you to make an appointement.
