My 50th BD Bash in Tuscany
 

Hi all,
Wow three years have gone by so quickly, and now I am finally coming up to our Italian extravaganza in Tuscany. We rented a castle in Tuscany www.castellodimagona.it and are taking 21 people over to celebrate my 50th. I have been planning the trip for three years, and it will mark my 8th trip to that beautiful country.

I wanted to thank all the Italian posting regulars: Tiff, Robisppiere, et al for all the tips, suggestions, great trip reports, through the years.

We spend a lot of time in Italy and love it there, and when my DH asked me 3 years ago how I wanted to celebrate my 50th, I didn't even hesitate. I said "I want to take all the people I love on the vacation of a lifetime!"

We'll be gone Sept 22 - October 7.

I'll check in after we return and let you all know how it went.

Tiff: I reprinted your Enchanted April report, though I have read it many times, I am taking it to re-read on the plane over. It is a classic that I will cherish forever!
