Must-dos in London

Going to London for 5 days with 2 teenagers (ages 19 & 16). What are top things to do and see ? Also, restaurant suggestions, especially best Indian food, best English pub near Buckingham Palace, best restaurant in Chinatown?

Click on "Destinations" above -- you'll get a great overview of London.

Put the kids to work researching and get guide book to read up a bit yourself. There are hundreds of threads on here about what to see/do in London and where to eat.

We took two teens (boys) a couple of years ago and they particularly enjoyed:
- Parliament
- London Eye
-Covent Garden on Sunday (the buskers)
-Lunch in a Pub
- Dinner at Wagamama's

Surprised they didn't seem overly excited about the Tower of London.

Must-dos and donts

If you meet the Queen, curtsy (and/or bow).

Try to have a conversation without asking where someone is from or what they do for a living.

Buy a round when people have bought you one.

Ask for bitter.

Watch your tips -- different ideas over there.

Avoid Buckingham Palace unless you've been personally invited.

Walk up the escalators or stand to the right.

Mind the gap.

I'm sure there are more . . .
