I will be going to tuscany based in montecatini for over 2 weeks in october. But I will also be spending time in venice,siena,lucca,rome,pisa etc. One of the optional tours offered is going to the Vinci & medici villa at artimino (la Ferdinanda). From what I'm reading I don't think I'm especially interested in going to vinci but am wondering about the medici villa at artimino (but vinci is lumped in with this tour).
Because I'll be busy every day I'm thinking if I'm better off staying in montecatini that day or going elsewhere then visiting just the medici villa at artimino. Can someone please advise??
