Murren to Ortisei via Postbus - scenic route

In July, I need to get to Ortisei in one day using the Half Fare Card and Saver Day Pass. I was planning on going Muerren to Mals/Malles via Disentis Muster, using the Glacier Express train from Brig to Chur.

However, due to a slight change in plans, I will also be taking the Glacier Express route from Chur to Zermatt the week prior, so I would prefer a different route to Ortisei.

Below is one route I was suggested but I can't find this itinerary on SBB (the Postbus). Does anyone know what I need to put in the 'via' field and the advanced search to show the below?
Muerren dp by train 7.36 - Meiringen ar 9.07, dp 9.25 by Postbus via Grimsel Pass - Nufenen Pass to Airolo ar 12.56, dp by train 13.13 - Milan ar 15.50. Milan dp 16.15 - Verona PN 17.28/17.50 - Waidbruck 19.47/19.59 - Ortisei ar 20.27

If you can help me find the above itinerary on SBB or suggest another scenic route, that would be much appreciated. Thanks

Open https://www.sbb.ch/en and enter Muerren BLM - Milano Centrale via Nufenen Passhoehe.
But as you will travel in July, things change a bit, because the Airolo - Milan train will run later: Airolo dp 13.21 - Milano Centrale ar 16.35.
that means: no connecting train from Milan to Waidbruck/Ponte Gardena.

But you could travel via Susten Pass instead:
Open https://www.sbb.ch/en and enter Muerren BLM - Milano Centrale via Susten Passhoehe.
Muerren dp 7.06 - Milano Centrale ar 14.35.
Italian timetables: https://www.sii.bz.it/en/siipdfOldtimetables Fields 100 and 350
Milan dp 15.15 - Verona 16.21/17.02 - Bolzano/Bozen 18.31/19.02 - Waidbruck 19.17/19.25 - Ortisei ar 20.22

Ah, I see. Thank you. What a shame, as I've heard the Furka Pass is one of the best in the country.

I like your alternate option. Though there are 8 train changes, I presume you are suggesting this for a reason. I'm sure the bus over Susten is beautiful. And I've trained through Como area before, so I know that's scenic.

I presume I just need to book the Trenitalia portion of the trip in advance, right?

I can't seem to find your itinerary once in Milan. The 100 starts in Verona, so how do I find the Milan train departing at 15.15? It's not showing on Trenitalia.

And, it looks like you arrive in Ortisei at 19.55 not 20.22... Right?

Any reason you recommend looking at the 100 and 350 rather than just searching FROM TO at the link you provided?

No, the from-to link works as well. 100 and 350 show you just the full timetable.

Milan - Verona: there will be a timetable change in June. Nothing will change for sure, but Trenitalia didn't load the "new" timetable already. Therefore you cannot yet book these trains.

The Freccie trains Milan - Verona and the EC train Verona dp 17.02 - Bolzano/Bozen ar 18.31 must be booked ahead. All other trains are (cheaper) regional trains and must not be booked ahead, namely:
Chiasso (Swiss border ) - Milan (but you must have a ticket for this leg that you can buy for example during your layover at Lugano),
Verona dp 17.50 - Waidbruck ar 19.47 (ticket at the ticket machine at Verona)
Bolzano/Bozen dp 19.02 - Waidbruck ar 19.17 (ticket at the ticket machine at Bolzano/Bozen).

TRAIN CHANGES:
There are always tons of train changes for people coming from remote areas like Murren. Once back in the "civilisation" you will have to change at Meiringen (train to bus),
Goeschenen (bus to train, sit on the right side for good views),
Lugano,
Milan
Verona,
Bolzano/Bozen (only if you take the EC train

So I won't be able to book these trains until June?
