Great pix!

Ok, I don't know what I did wrong there...but if you click the http://murphypictures one and then "enter this album" you can flip through them.
|
Thanks high flyer!
I played around with this some more - click the long address (second link), then "enter photo album" then for better viewing you can click "slideshow" button toward the top on the right side of the page. |
Your photographs are incredible--not only the subjects, but your framing of them. What a beautiful book they would make!
Thanks for sharing them on this forum, Murphy. |
And mouse over the pictures for the titles..
Lord! You have some fantastic shots from different and unusual angles! I love Fougeres , did you? |
Thanks guys! I did love Fougeres - as you can tell by picture volume - lol! I really like my shots from Chenonnceau though, because I managed to go when not one other tourist was present! I couldn't believe my luck and snapped enless photos of the place.
Cheers, Murphy |

wow, you have raised the bar! These are so beautiful and the framing stunning!
|
Fantastic! Oh my, they're all so beautiful: the budding trees at Rennes, the quietness of Chenonceau, love the moat at Fougeres, and on and on. Lovely!

Thanks guys for the feedback! I love showing my photos - it became such a great hobby during my trip. I actually bought a film camera for the trip because I felt I couldn't afford a digital - but I think a digital would have been great. The cost of developing my film was really astronomical and I had to carry it all around for 3 months. The photos turned out ok, but if I had digital I could have screened out the bad photos instead of paying for them all. Lesson Learned - next time.
Cheers, Murphy |
Murphy,
Are you a professional photographer? Those pictures were incredible!!! I was bummed when the slideshow was over. I am going to Paris and Provence in October and am rethinking my trip because of your fabulous photos. Thanks so much! |
No, not a professional photographer - but thank you for the flattering comments gchizz!
I have started part II of my adventures on a seperate post as well. The link is: http://www.fodors.com/forums/threads...p;tid=34829349 Hope you enjoy! Murphy |
Murphy, I just got a chance to go through your awesome photos after a busy Canada Day weekend. Actually I went through them twice because I didn't figure out the mouseover caption thingie until I read jody's comments. Many of them, like Amboise and Mont St. Michel bring back memories of a trip there with my daughter. Thanks so much for sharing!
