Munich - Wine Bars ?
Am looking for a location for a wine bar/wine shop that could host a hip / casual biz reception. No formal tastings, just a good selection of wine in cool setting. Ideally in the center in Munich.

If you are after a decent but not fancy thing you could start by contacting the following:
http://www.jacques.de/index.php I have no idea HOW and whether they do that kind of tastings you are lokking for. But they at least can give you some valuable advise. There are tastings which also include info on new methods of sealing (instead of cork: glas, screw etc etc etc). But I don't know who does that in Munich. Here are coming some more links: http://www.erlebniskochen.de/index.p...FQk9ZgodQDeJjw http://www.einfachgeniessen.de/ http://www.weintrainer.com/weinsemin...chen/index.htm http://www.aquitaine.de/ here you can try to search further..... http://www.google.de/#hl=de&q=weinpr...7d8eb6a2f89501 Any good Hotel will be happy to help out to get the tasting going.. Good luck! SV |
I don't go to Munich for the wine, but if I did I would go to Lutter & Wegner im Künstlerhaus. It is located in the centre of Munich at the Lenbachplatz. Good food, too.

HAVE HEARD GOOD REVIEWS ON ILANGA (A SOUTH AFRICAN SPECIALTY WINE BAR)... APPARENTLY TOP RATED BY SOME TREND MAGAZINE THIS YEAR AS NEW HOT SPOT.
ANYONE HEARD OF IT? |
We hunted for wine bars when in Munich last year and the best one we found - with good food and a nice atmosphere - was this one:
