Munich Hotels near train station downtown
 

looking for hotels near the train station in Munich that would be reasonably priced, English speaking at front desk, and in an area that is safe. We are travelling around Germany strictly by train so need a hotel near the train station. Any suggestions?

Not sure what qualifies as "reasonably priced" , but we have stayed many times at the Sofitel. It's very comfortable, great service and right outside the station.

Also a Meridian across the street depending on what you think is reasonable.

I am at the Anna hotel one block from the train station. Nice location but ask for a room on the pedestrian walkway side.

Marriott Courtyard is a few blocks away from the station.
