Munich Airport
 

We are flying int Munich Int airport with Lufthansa, I would like to know how to get to the Avis counter. I assume that lufthansa arrives at terminal #1.<BR>

My recollection is that the terminals are actually labeled A, B, C, D - - all in one big long strip of a building. And the car rental terminals are actually in the building on the lower level, all down at one end - - near D.<BR><BR>Just follow the signs "Mietwagen" - - "miet" form the verb "vermieten" - - to rent.<BR><BR>Best wishes,<BR><BR>Rex<BR>

I think rental cars are at the A end but it is all the way at one end. It is a long hike from C or D. There is actually a website I found before my trip with an airport map.

Having practiced that a couple of times on the internet, by the time I actually arrived on our trip and went thru all of the steps, I felt like a "seasoned" traveler, even though I had never been to the Munich Airport before.<BR><BR>One tip I have found to be useful if you are also departing from the same new, unfamiliar airport that you are just arriving into - occasionally turn around for a moment as you are arriving to make a mental picture of how things will look when you come back later to depart - it really helps to remember how the same things will look then.<BR><BR>Enjoy your trip.
