Munchen & Black forest (things to do)

H i every body
It 's great to find this forum, most of my question s are late !! (not too late yet :).
We are group of two families 5 adults and ( 15 , 13 , 9, 5 ,3 ) children.
We are planning to visit Munchen (4 nights) and Black forest(4 night) (in order to visit Europa park & black forest ) then we will move to Interlaken for (7 nights) .
I need your kind help to answer these questions:-
I heard that there are a farms around Munchen where we can pick up the fruit by ourselves
Do you have any information about them or their locations?

Where the best city to city to enjoy the stay in additional of visiting the europa park? Strasburg or frieburg or Baden Baden or any other ideas ?

Can you advice about any (things to do in these areas)?

Thanks.

>farms around Munchen
The locations change (Strawberries, Potatos), except for some special tree grown fruits. (obviously)
i.e. A cherry picking place is just outside Eichenau.

Blueberries:

Raspberries:

There are others too...
Thanks for using Munchen, but please don't forget the dots.
It's either Muenchen or München ;-), never Munchen.

hi noura,

I googled "selbst pflucken Munchen" and came up with this website:

http://www.ganz-muenchen.de/gastro/s...en/eberle.html

there are lots of threads about things to do near Munich, like trips to Neuschwanstein and other castles.

as for where to stay in the Black Forest, it depends what you want. as you will ahve been in Munich and are heading for Interlaken, why not find a small village, or a hotel with sports facilties and a pool? there are loads of them - again, google is your friend.

have a great trip,

regards, ann

PS -normally I would suggest travellnig on spec, but with a party of 10, you probably do need to book ahead.

hi logos - we were posting at the same time.

of course i agree about the spelling of Muenchen, but google doesn't seem to care.

Google seems to find anything :-).

Hofreiter and Eberle are to to big companies, I believe there are a number of smaller places too. I'm too lazy for DIY.

Thanks logos for your great help
Oh Man I found this site by Google I from a far area and English is not my language!
I am looking for unusual activities that may know by the experts .the lack of information is result of finding the most sites wrote with DE!

Regarding the spelling, I will try to add the dots by the pen over the screen since I don’t have this kind of keyboard :)

noura, it's even simpler. Thanks to Mr Edison and the invention of telegraphy you can write:

ue for ü
ae for ä
oe for ö
ss for ß
;-)

Muenchen, Hofbraeuhaus, Fuessen, Strassburg, and so on.

Googe also translates the pages for you, not perfect but better than nothing.

It seems that you own some shares in google :)
