Multiple Choice--Hydrofoil from Capri to Naples
We will be staying in Capri before leaving on a train from Naples to Rome. It appears that a hydrofoil is the best way to get from Capri to Naples to catch our train. Is this correct? If so, how long in advance do we need to purchase tickets?
A) Just before boarding? B) when we arrive in Capri a couple of days before we're scheduled to leave and go to Naples? C)From US via the website asap? Thanks for your advice in helping me ace this test. |
You can buy Hydrofoil tickets when you're ready to get on - but be sure you know the schedules. (And you;ll get the info when you go TO Capri - or weren't you going to use the Hydrofoil for that?

Sure enough. We leave from Positano for Capri so I thought they might be different boats than the ones that go to Naples, but if they're the same company, that sure works great for us. Thanks for your help.

Several companies run between Napoli and Capri. Schedules change frequently. At Capri, you'll see the various ticket offices and the times of that day's departures. The busiest in summer are the late afternoon sailings used by day trippers returning to the mainland. If you're catching a train from Napoli, you'll presumably be leaving Capri in the morning, so should have no problem buying a ticket before sailing.
