Mt. Athos Excursion Boats
 

Does anyone have specific information about the boats that cruise around the Mt. Athos region. We will be staying in Thessaloniki, will have a car and plan to depart for the journey from Ouranopolis. Is there more than one boat? What is the schedule?
How long to allow for the drive from Thessaloniki to Ouranopolis?

I did a cruise from Ouranoupoli some years ago, travelling by bus from Thessaloniki and staying overnight in Ouranoupoli. It would be quite a long day trip from Thessaloniki.
