With my tongue in cheek I am tempted to answer <BR> <BR>"I don't know Joanne, where do you think I should move to in the US?" <BR> <BR>What do you do? why do you want to live here? what are you qualified in? do you want to live in a town or the country? what sort of a job do you want? what are your aspirations? <BR> <BR>Please fill in the balnks and recommendations will follow. Also what's your immigration qualification? <BR>

The highlands of Scotland are not exactly a hotbed of economic prosperity crying out for immigrants to come work there. Have you done any research at all on this idea?

Without knowing more about your plans, I would suggest the Dundee area. It has a large university, but is a reasonable sized town, appears prosperous with opportunities.

On a general basis, I got the impression Glasgow was a happening town with education centers, an industrial base and a tourism industry that seems to extend to the nearby Highlands area. May be worth your while to look into it? For a more tailored answer, you may need to provide answers to Sheila's questions above. Best of luck in all your plans.
