OK. Another change. Though I have my passport in hand and everything set up for my arrival, I have pushed back my ticket thanks to my father who pointed out that I had already missed the "real fun" of my first week and that my grandmother's 90th birthday will be celebrated on July 4th. So, I am taking the next plane out which leaves on July 9th and arrives on July 11th because I GET 24 HOURS IN LONDON! All relevant parties have been notified (Sandra and Lola, friends who live in London) and everything is looking good.
So, it is taking a little longer but I am (not so secretly) happy that I get to be here for the big 90.

I have landed! I am sitting on my computer at my friend's flat on Rocafort, pirating internet off the neighbors. I got in on the 11th after 26 hours in London with a friend.
The jet lag has worn off, it is incredibly hot here, all my bags arrived perfectly, yesterday I went to work and classes, then out for drinks. The day before that I met a fellow Fodorite for dinner. Things are good and it looks like I will be able to use the board, at least on a limited level.
Must be off to my day! I missed you guys!

Glad to hear you made it to BCN laclaire !
I'm looking forward to reading your news from my beloved Barcelona.
How about telling us what you think has changed since you last were there? What's hot and what's not? Street wear, neighbourhoods, restaurants, bars, parties, general trends etc... ?

Glad to know that you made it back to BCN but sorry that we missed each other. We hit town on the 11th and flew out on the 14th. I sent you an email earlier today. I hope everything is going well.
