movie posters in rome
 

hi,
i collect film posters & will be in rome, sorrento, florence, venice next week. was wondering if anyone out there knows of any local marketplace that sells movie posters (like covent garden market in london)

The largest and most famous flea market in Rome is Porta Portese (every sunday morning in via Portuense). You can find all kind of goods and many print sellers. Very nice to visit anyway.

Porta Portese is mostly filled with junk and it can be very difficult to sift through it to find anything of value. Great place for pickpockets also. On weekends, there is a print market (prints,posters,books) in Piazza Fontanella Borghese near the Corso and Via Condotti.

I go to the via dei crociferi near the Galleria Alberto Sordi, off of the corso by the Marco Aurelio Colonna. This street is lined with movie poster vendors.
