Moulin Rouge

Is it worth going, IF we can get tickets? Does anyone understand the difference in the 3 shows?

Hi Jeanne,

Not my cup of tea. I suggest that if you do go, you don't buy the dinner - overpriced.

Jeanneboca, most (not all) of the people that see the show give it at least a weak recomendation, some like it much more. Many people who have not seen it tell people not to go.

It's not a "must see" show. Have been to both Moulin Rouge & Lido. Liked Moulin Rouge better. Lido was more of a modern decor. Never been to the Crazy Horse.

A lot of topless dancing. Our show had a man wrestle an alligator in a tank of water on stage. It was obvious that the gater was drugged. You get a 1/2 bottle of champagne per person for the price of admission. If you ordered anything else, it cost a lot. Never had the dinner, but have never heard anything great about it. ((b))

I've seen it and its OKAY, but not a "must see" by any means. Really overpriced IMHO. I would not do it again nor recommend it to a friend. If you do go, don't get the dinner.
