Hi all, are there any Motorsport followers on the board.?

We're heading to the uk in August, does anyone know of any special Motorsport events that I should put on my must see list for August? Eg events, displays festivals ect.

August is a slow month for sports, except for cricket. Here is an events calendar by a corporate hospitality company:

There are motorsport events every weekend throughout the summer, but the major ones (to my taste) are the British Grand Prix at the end of june, the Goodwood Festival of Speed in July, and the Goodwood Revival in September.

Other events to consider at various dates in August would be Glorious Goodwood (horse racing), Cowes Week (yachting), and the England-Scotland football (soccer) match. There is also the Charity Shield football match at Wembley, between the FA Cup winners and the Premier League champions, held sometime in August.
