Mostar/best restaurant?
I have a long list of restaurants in Mostar, but most don't have websites so I can't look at menus. We're in Mostar one night in June and would like to have a nice dinner there. Anyone aware of a place with great food, preferably on the river? Thanks!

Before I went to Mostar 2 years ago I had read TripGirl's trip report. She had dined at the Bella Vista and gave it a good review. The day I was there, the restaurant was packed with a waiting line so, unfortunately I dined elsewhere. However, I would trust TripGirl's review. Maybe she'll chime in.
Hope this helps.

I had some great meals in Mostar but it was October and chilly so we did not eat out by the river!
Sadrvan is just off the bridge on the 'western' side, it has a little fountain in the courtyard and is very pleasant.
Keep on down the lane to the left - sort of below the restaurant - and you come to the River Radobolje. Tucked away on the right is the Restaurant Radolbolje which was wonderfully cosy on a cold night.
There are several overlooking the Old Bridge on both sides - the ones on the western side are reached via a courtyard, and there are some really quite pushy fron people trying to get you in, we found. Also the menus were in English with pictures!
However there is one on the Eastern or Turkish side, it was filmed in the Michael Palin series where he visited Croatia, Bosnia, Bulgaria etc. It overlooks the Bridge and looks really nice. If it hadn't been so cold that evening we had planned to eat there because of the location and the view. I think it is the Bella Vista. This may help...

Hello,
I live in Hungary, next to Budapest. I often go to my favourite restaurant which located in the heart of Budapest.
I think Café Miró Grande is a very famous restaurant here because hosts are friendly and main dishes are fantastic! I always eat Buttery veal roast or Paprika chicken with egg-dumpling souffle. And prices are ordinary, not expensive.
Wine selection is mostly Hungarian Wines. My favourite wine is Tokaji in this restaurant.
I suggest all people who travel to Budapest!
Best Regards,
