Most Scenic Small Town in the Netherlands

My wife and I loved Brugge (stayed at the wonderful Oud Huis Amsterdam Hotel) and I was wondering if there is an equivalent in the Netherlands. Thanks.

Haarlem is very pretty, so is Delft. Although the architecture cannot compare to Brugge!

Ditto to MyriamC: All three are gems, just that Brugges is so much more extraordinary. Myriam: Tot Ziens!

While Delft may not be as comprehensively gorgeous as Brugge, I think it has more going for it - less a museum maybe and more a working, breathing city.

Buren, in de Betuwe area of The Netherlands.
Buren is officially a city, since it was given 'city rights', but it is really more like a walled village. Very pretty, in a very beautiful part of The Netherlands. The Dutch Queen is also Countess of Buren. If you are ever in this area (roughly between Utrecht and Arnhem), especially in the spring, then go and visit.

Good tip, Tulips. That's an area of the Netherlands we never explored.

Then go when the fruit trees are in blossom, and go have lunch at Gravin van Buren in Buren!

Delft is a picture postcard of a town - and the pottery manufacturing tour is an interesting bonus.

For a small small town, visit Hilversum. It's delightful.

In addition to Haarlem and Delft, we liked Gouda.
