Getting a head in gondola at night in Venice while gongoliere sang ,Ahhhh

Going to St Marks square at night when the breeze is blowing, the moon is out and there are 3 live orchestras playing love songs in the square. That is hard to beat.

Waking up in a second-floor Venetian room over a side canal with the sunlight reflecting off the water onto the ceiling, hearing church bells, and being enveloped in the smell of bread baking in the bakery downstairs.

A room in Florence with a terrace on the Arno - last thing I saw at night, first thing in the morning. Even got up in the middle of the night, just to look again. Breathtaking... <BR> <BR>Eating FRESH mozzarella di buffalo for breakfast, with tomatoes, wonderful oil and balsamic, overlooking the sea... mmmmmmmm <BR> <BR>Lying by the floating pool at Villa D'Este - bright sunshine, gentle breeze... <BR> <BR>Snow on the Rialto bridge... <BR> <BR>The scirocco in Puglia - very exotic
