Most reliable hotel booking agent?
Who should I use?

RainbowTravel.cz, or avetravel.cz or praguehotels.

What have your experiences been? Also, can I pay 100% upfront instead of 1/2 now, 1/2 later (because the exchange rate may change unfavorably until then).

Thanks...

Is there a reason you aren't booking direct with the hotel (s)? Then you generally don't even have to make any deposit. I much prefer to book directly and then know that I have a confirmed response from the hotel itself that ackowledges my specific requests, like room type and beds. Of course, if you have found a great deal of savings through a specific booking agent, then that could change things.

Patrick,

I've found some good deals online with these booking agents...but, if they aren't reliable, I'll shell out the extra cash to ensure I get what I requested.

Just wondering what other people experiences with these were...thanks

I rather not take the chance. I go to the hotel site and book them direct.
I always use the same nice hotel in prague now anyways after going to a few.
I say book direct. It is not worth the chance of getting taken is it?
The booking agent I used in Prague is Accommodations.cz also known as Interacta. All that was asked when I made the reservation was for my credit card no. The card was not charged. The hotel charged the stay to my card when I checked out. They didn't even ask to see it when I checked in. This specific agent has a list of specials, that are much less than the rack rates of many of the hotels in Prague. You might check it out. Also, I noticed that you need to compare all the booking agents prices, as they may have different offers for the same hotel.
