More on airline tickets - r/t london
The airline question has been discussed to no end, however I am getting a little bit nervous. What has everyone found for Summer travel to London from the U.S.??
I am planning on being in Europe from begining of June to mid-August. I have already booked the necessary easyjet flights (for a fabulous deal!) so I only need a r/t to London (from Phoenix) What is reasonable (relatively) and when should I book? This is my first trip to Europe so I keep thinking I need to just buy something to get it over with. (however I could definately use the [possible] saved money should I find something cheaper) Thanks in advance for your opinions and I understand all you can do is speculate. p.s. I really love this board - so informative, however everytime I read it I begin to lengthen my trip and add more to my itinerary :-) |
I bought my tix for 1134. About a week ago, there were tix from SFO to Lon r/t for 253.I had already purchased mine and couldn't get in on it but a lot of people did. I would say that you are probably not going to get a much better fare than around 1000. but stuff happens! Just don't wait too long

I purchased a round-trip ticket from Denver to Heathrow (British Air's direct service), flying in mid-May, for $800. I got the ticket on BA's website in early January.

We are looking for flights to London from Chicago in June. A few weeks ago flights were in the $500 range. We could not book since we were not sure about dates. Now they seem to be in the $1000 range. I have not figured out where to find anything cheaper, if I do I will let you know.
