More London museums go free from Nov 22

Anyone visiting London soon might like to know that the three S. Kensington museums -the Natural History, The Science, and the Victoria and Albert - will be scrapping their entrance fees from Nov 22.

Thanks Mitch. Is this temporary or permanent?

Great news, I'd heard it was going to happen but didn't know when. For my money the Victoria-Albert is a top notch museum and perhaps my all time favorite (with the possible exception of the Metropolitan in NYC). The V&A is definately my choice in London. As I recall it was slightly pricey at something like ?10 or thereabouts last time I was there.

Nah, the V&A was ?5 per adult when I was there in August, with plenty of two-adults-for-the-price-of-one coupons in all the tourist booklets.
