More London hotel help

We will be traveling to London in early Mar. and can't desided between the Thistle Hyde Park or The Royal Horseguard another Thistle.
Any feed-back would be appreciated.
Donna

Both hotels are fine but personally I would choose the Royal Horseguards. It is a five star hotel with 280 recently refurbished rooms and has a good reputation for service etc. It is very centrally located on the banks of the Thames and many rooms have fantastic views. It is close to transport and a short walk from the Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace, and Theatre etc.

The Thistle Hyde Park is a four star smaller cosier hotel with just 54 Rooms.
Thanks David we were leaning towards the Royle Horsegusrds.
You were a big help.

I'd also strongly recommend the Royal Horseguard. I'm not familiar with the Hyde Park location but the Horseguard is outstanding. We stayed there in August. You won' be disappointed.

We stayed at the Thistle Hyde Park this past summer and liked it a lot. We had reserved an Executive family room and they gave us two adjoining rooms that were very nice. The rooms were like a nice Hyatt hotel in the states. We liked it a lot.
Sorry but I made a mistake, we stayed at the Thistle Marble Arch, not Hyde Park. Don't know anything about the Thistle Hyde Park but we did like the one at Marble Arch.
We have also reserved a room at the Thistle Hyde Park and would appreciate any comments from prior visitors. Thank you.

My husband and I just took a chance on Priceline, and we got the Royal Horseguards for $100 USD per night. Did we do well?
