Moraira hotel suggestions please

We're still planning our drive from Barcelona to Granada, and we may spend a night in Moraira. Any hotel (or B&B?) suggestions considering our budget is around 100-110 euros?

We prefer something with local flavor or charm rather than a corporate business hotel, but we're realistic about what one can get in our budget. Thanks in advance

Hi alan64,
Don't know if the 3 star La Sort is beyond your budget, but check here:

We'll be there in mid-October, so their 'low-season' rates (107-115 Euro) are in our range, and the resort looks super. Thank you so much!

Hi alan64,
I was just reading my new Ruralka small hotels with charm guide and came across a new property in Benissa (10 km. away) that might be just right for you as well.
Says it's an "oasis of tranquility"-the Casa del Maco.

Check their Oct. mid-season rates at www.casadelmaco.com

That looks like just the kind of place that we'd love, even more than a beach resort like La Sort. I've already sent an inquiry regarding availability.

BTW, besides using your Barcelona guide for hotel recommendations (we've booked the Astoria), I've been reading your descriptions of restaurants and tapas bars. I'm now dreaming of food and can't wait for October!

Paco Meralgo, Maurl pastries, and El Trobador in particular will be visited. Being a wine fan, I think Vinissim will also be a must-do. Thank you for all your help.
